Below is a step-by-step guide to walk you through the home buying process. My goal is to give you a clearer picture of what's typically involved so you can navigate it with confidence and ease.

1. CONSULTATION

Before starting your home search, evaluate your financial situation. Determine your budget and what you can afford by considering your income, expenses, savings, and debt. Also check your credit score as it will affect your mortgage eligibility and interest rates.

2. ASSESS YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION

Reach out to a few lenders to get pre-approved for a home loan. This will give you an idea of how much you can borrow. I always recommend comparing loan options and rates to find the best deal for you. Having a pre-approval when submitting an offer shows a seller that you are a serious buyer.

3. GET PRE-APPROVED FOR A LOAN

Create a list of your must-haves and deal-breakers to help me identify suitable properties for you. We will attend open houses and do private showings, and we'll be prepared to act quickly in competitive markets.

4. START YOUR HOME SEARCH

Once you find the home you like,  we will submit a competitive offer based on market conditions and the property's condition. The seller may accept, reject, or counter your offer, leading to further negotiations.

5. MAKE AN OFFER

After your offer is accepted, a home inspection must be completed to identify any potential issues that may need to be addressed. Simultaneously, the lender will order an appraisal to confirm the home's value and ensure it meets the loan requirements.
